Life After Lockdown

Lockdown for me has brought a mixture of positive and negative emotions. Whilst keeping myself busy in growing our brand I wanted to make sure that I use this time at home to take more breaks and treat myself.
The world seems to be taking a more ethical approach to life now more than ever, which is great not only for the environment but for our future. In the midst of self-care online shopping, I decided that I want to convert a few of my usual items to more ethical brands. So I checked my inbox and boom! I was actually approached by a couple of new brands and a long term favourite of mine to try out their new items! Read more below on what I was lucky enough to explore during lockdown!

Herbal Tea has always been apart of my weight loss wellbeing journey☕️. So you can imagine how excited I was when I found out @teapigs had released their new Cold Tea brews! Ice tea is a great way to get in your daily water intake, especially if you're someone who doesn't usually like water. Teapigs have also created a unique bottle design that allows you to easily track every refill ensuring you reach your 2 litre goal.
I was kindly gifted the Cold Brew Bottle Kit to sample and I must say every flavour has a unique refreshing taste. Cucumber and Apple is probably my ultimate daytime favourite as it has a light brisk flavour. Peach and Mango has a beautiful fragrance and finally the Lychee and Rose tea is definitely a win for the summer.
Whats great about Teapigs 🌿:
- Impact-resistant and BPA-free tritan plastic
- All packaging is fully biodegradable
- Tea Temple is made from plant starch
-  Outer bag is made from wood pulp

I was first introduced by the brand Truthbrush on Instagram and thought that their design was absolutely sleek and adorable😍 What sold it for me was the amazing story behind the brand. The owners Catherine and Catherine designed this product after they stayed at an ‘Eco friendly’ hotel and were given a plastic toothbrush. This propelled them to produce something as beautiful and sustainable as possible, and now they are the only brand stocked by the UK Vegan society and have stockists all around the world including Liberty and Selfridges.
Whats great about Truthbrush🌿:
- Ergonomic handle is crafted from sustainable, organic bamboo which is naturally anti bacterial (comes in a variety of colours)
- Bristles are  castor oil based to care for your teeth and gums.
Each Truthbrush is hand wrapped in tissue paper and a recyclable cardboard pillow pack. Shipping is carbon neutral to minimise environmental impact.
- Truthbrush is cruelty free and vegan.
 Estrid Womens Shaver

My legs have never felt better! Like the box says "A vegan razor is that even a thing? YES it is!"
I was so ecstatic when Estrid reached out to me. I had seen their ads on Instagram and loved the vibrant colours of their razors. When I checked them out online their price was really reasonable and I quite like the idea of their subscription service.
For only £7.99 you can get an amazing starter kit including a shaver, wall holder and 2x cartridges 🙌🏾  If you checkout with the code “EQUALITY”, the company will donate £1 extra to Fawcett Society.
I have used disposable razors for so long, I honestly have been missing out! The minute I tried the 5 razor Estrid Shaver I was instantly converted! The glide across my skin was just so easy and my skin felt luxurious afterwards.

 Happy exploring!
